Bide fainted Pokémon damage accumulation glitch is a natural glitch in Pokémon Red, Blue, and Yellow. It was documented by Crystal_.

Summary

This is a glitch involving faulty Bide damage programming (for accumulated Bide damage) for when a Pokémon faints. It can result in a desync in a link battle.

When the player is about to faint, and the opponent's Bide is yet to release damage, accumulated Bide damage is cleared. However, if the player's Bide is yet to release damage and the opponent faints, the stored Bide damage will not be fully cleared (only the most significant byte for accumulated damage is set to 0).
