Bonsly refers to a valid Generation IV Pokémon.
Prior to Generation IV Bonsly also appears in Pokémon XD: Gale of Darkness as both an NPC character and as a Pokémon available to battle with in Realgam Tower's Battle Bingo minigame, where it only knows Rock Slide.
By using a cheating device or theoretically trading the 0x019D ?????????? from a Generation III game on to Pokémon XD, Bonsly may also be obtained in the party where it serves as a glitch Pokémon.
