Methods to obtain
Select glitch (cursor as third Pokémon-fifth Pokémon when only one Pokémon in party)
Notes
Opening the party Pokémon menu with this glitch Pokémon present may corrupt the graphics for that screen, or freeze the game completely in the case of the Silver debug.
Viewing the summary of this glitch Pokémon may print many 9s on the screen. Exiting out of the menu may then corrupt the overworld, possibly resulting in a freeze when done in the starting house, but no freeze when done on the main overworld outside. Many overworld tiles will be replaced with 9s, however.)
This Pokémon cannot be captured in battle. Even if a Master Ball is thrown at it, it will break free, although the ball may still shake one to three times. The only known way to add it to your party in this way is to initialize a wild encounter with another Pokémon, and then modify the address $D7CD (current enemy Pokémon) in the middle of the battle before throwing a ball at it.
