タマゴ (romaji: "tamago", meaning "egg") is a glitch Pokémon in Pokémon Gold and Silver (Japanese), and one of the variations of Generation II glitch Egg.

It is not known whether stat-wise if it functions the same as the English Generation II glitch Eggs (such as GlitchDex/GS:253, but it is likely).

Pokémon Gold back sprite

The back sprite of this glitch Pokémon in Pokémon Gold (both in v1.0 and Rev A) causes heavy corruption to the screen and causes glitch music to play.

Upon resetting the game, the game may prompt the player to reset the clock meaning this glitch is potentially useful for changing the date and time.

Pokémon Silver back sprite

As in Pokémon Gold, the back sprite of this glitch Pokémon (both in v1.0 and Rev A) will freeze the game.

However, the freeze is less complex than in Japanese Gold, consisting of a brief moment in which tiles are printed on the screen before fading to a white screen.

Like in Pokémon Gold, the clock may be forced to become 'wrong' according to the game, allowing the player to change the date and time.
