(hex:AE) is a glitch item in Pokémon Yellow. It is an unterminated name glitch item.When used outside of battle with a 0x50 sub-tile early in the saved screen data, it may bring up Professor Oak's message that it isn't the time to use the item.
If used inside of battle with a 0x50 sub-tile early in the saved screen data (method unknown without arbitrary code execution) it will appear to function the same as an X Accuracy but the game will say the player used the name of the glitch item rather than X Accuracy.
Otherwise, if there is no 0x50 sub-tile in the saved screen data the game may freeze upon pressing A on this glitch item.
