Fuchsia City Pokémon Center receptionist curiosity

The Fuchsia City Pokémon Center receptionist curiosity occurs in Pokémon Gold, Silver and Crystal. For unknown reasons, the hair of the Pokémon Center receptionist in Fuchsia City is green instead of red.

This curiosity seemingly does not occur in Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver, where the hair of the receptionist in Fuchsia City is pink, like other receptionists in the games.
