Pursuit-Revival glitch

The Pursuit-Revival glitch is a glitch in Pokémon Gold, Silver and Crystal.

If the player switches out a Pokémon with the burned, paralyis poison or sleep status and it faints from Pursuit, then the old status will return after reviving a Pokémon via the use of a Revive, Max Revive or Rare Candy.

This glitch works both within battle and after the end of the battle (although the player can't use the Rare Candy in battle). The glitch doesn't apply to Sacred Ash (and probably not HP Up).
