(or, Old System, if you remember the first Glitch City ;) )

The new (or old) Shop System has been started. Each member can buy a "Shop Deed" (costs ?100) that they can use to create their own shop. Until the member buys and uses a Deed, they are unable to upload items. The ?100 should ensure that the member gets fairly active in the community before getting the privilege to maintain a Shop.

However, several members already have become regular members, and often used Trade Center to upload their files. These members have been given the Shop Deed free of charge. They are:

At present you can do it for the shop, but not for the items.

It'll be a while before the Trade Centre is all sold out, (maybe never) so you can go ahead and delete my items that are still there. ;) I got them uploaded to my shop.

Is trading items supposed to send the items to Trade Centre, not your shop?

Trading items sends them to the Center. Uploading sends them to the shop.

I found out that you can use BB code in the shop description, header, and footer.

Also, the text limit in them are kind of too small. Did you mean to make the limit like 256 characters (I didn't count), or could you allow more text? With the current limit, the size of the text boxes don't really have a point.

Those were stored in the mySQL database as "TINYTEXT". Unfortunately, I didn't know just how tiny "TINYTEXT" was. I've enlarged them to just "TEXT", which is 65535 characters. That should be way more than enough.

Yeah, that is good enough.

Can you put in a feature preventing free items from being sold? Some people might see the item being sold in the Trade Centre, yet not know it's sold for free in a shop. This will be good for Pokemon Gameboy ROMs, which I am planning on selling for free.
