Fact is that the necro-bumping rule is why when it says its at least 120 days old, I cancel the reply so I don't break rules!

That's just an automatic message from the software, which also says that there are exceptions to that case, as the rules also say. When the place was more active, the rule was more often enforced along those lines, but nowadays it's less active, so topics might take longer to gain relevant replies.
