White hand reference? - Page 1

White hand reference?

Thoughts? Is it an actual reference to what people called White hand that apparently appears on the third floor of Lavender Tower (found to be fake) but does anyone think Nintendo actually attempted/wanted to put it in the game first and scattered clues around? I haven't found anything about the (fake) Buried Alive though.

I would have just imagined the "white hand" (at most) as just a friendly reference to a Boo from the Mario series. Game Freak were the developers of Mario & Yoshi - released prior to Pokémon Red and Green and Boo was one of the "blocks". As you likely already know, there is a reference to Mario & Wario (a Japan only game), also developed by Game Freak and released before Red/Green with the copycat from Saffron City playing a game at her house with Mario and "a bucket on his head."

A less obvious example is Pulseman's home (computer) "Saint Ann" (Pulseman is a Japanese only game, developed by Game Freak in 1989 when they worked for both Sega and Nintendo), probably an inspiration for "S.S. Anne". [size=1]You can get Pulseman off of the Virtual Console, though still in Japanese. I downloaded it out of interest, it's not bad when you get the hang of it but its not really like Sonic.[/size]

Either way I'm attempting to find/but etc a hacked game with them in, it may not be real but i still wanna see for myself what people talk about.

Umm, there is almost surely none.  People just make up rumors; this one is nothing special.

There is nothing to see.  It is very very unlikely that anyone would make a hack of one RBY with this or any of the other rumors like this (although the presence of fan-made sprites does increase the chance).
