Forum links broken?

Seems the recent maintenance changed the forum URL format and broke all external links to topics, posts etc?

Yeah I have a ticket for this. That feature relied on a specific Apache feature which isn't available in our new nginx/fpm setup. We can set up a redirect in nginx to catch those urls and redirect.

Maybe you will at least copy the rules from a backup to a new topic?
Because i didn't yet read them, due to the "topic" being down.

If you come across a broken link, it is pretty straightforward to find the new target. You need only change two characters: after  "index.php" change the '/' to '?'; after "topic" change the ',' to '='.

old: http://forums.glitchcity.info/index.php/topic,36.0
new: http://forums.glitchcity.info/index.php?topic=36.0

new: http://forums.glitchcity.info/index.php?topic=6638.msg198625.html#msg198625

I believe this issue to have been fixed by this commit but please let me know if there are any more broken links.

Old-style links work again, and "redirect" to the "new" syntax instead. But I think it'd still be nice to use the new syntax everywhere.

Also, http://forums.glitchcity.info/index.php?action=post&topic=7588.0&last_msg=203023
is preferred to (afaik) http://forums.glitchcity.info/index.php?action=post;topic=7588.0;last_msg=203023 (which is the current syntax)

If the ampersands make too many difficulties, I understand.

Seems like there's another bug in the URLs. When I logged in from http://forums.glitchcity.info/index.php?topic=6474.0, I got redirected to http://forums.glitchcity.info/index.php?/index.php?topic=6474.0

RIP GlitchDex cries.
If you go to %GLITCHDEX%/RB:000/cry.wav (Windows-based relative path because FYO) it parses it as a forum page, breaking the Cry iFrame on the GlitchDex page.
EDIT: Forgot to mention this happens for ALL of them, not just this one.
