Windows continously failing at startup

Well, this was sure unexpected. Anyway…
Whenever I start up the computer, I have some time to do stuff, then all of a sudden it restarts, I get a blue screen ("recovered from serious error", etc.) and I get the startup menu. If I do normal mode, I'm allowed some time but it restarts again with the same stuff. Currently, that computer is in Safe Mode and I am in Event Viewer. Today there were a lot of System Errors listed there, all from the past few minutes I was on. Most of them had to do with certain programs not being able to start, some of them due to another program not working, and a few just not being able to start. After looking at Help I see that I can go into a startup mode where it "Doesn't restart at Windows fail". I am wondering if this is safe, and if I can fix this problem. I would rather not use System Restore, but if I will need to I guess I must. I am still curious as to what caused this problem, however. In Safe Mode, I deleted some programs I had recently downloaded (QuickFreedom and LibUSB) to try and jailbreak by iPod for like the fifth time, but apparently these weren't causing the problems.
Any suggestions on what to do?
This is Sparta Windows Vista.
And the Startup Help or whatever it's called just said to do System Restore.

Start > Control Panel > System > Advanced tab > Startup and Recovery Settings button > System failure box > Uncheck "Automatically restart".

Start > Control Panel > System > Advanced tab > Startup and Recovery Settings button > System failure box > Uncheck "Automatically restart".
So I was considering that, but there must be consequences of leaving problems that cause the system to fail on the computer, no? Or does it not really matter?

No, then you could record debug info off the BSoD.

What could I do with the info from the BSOD?

If you have a Windows Vista disc, pop it in and press r during boot up or something to repair any broken system files which is probably the case here.

You'd use the Microsoft Knowledgebase.
http://support.microsoft.com/, then use the site's Search for whatever the STOP error you're receiving.

Also, I got the "Best Bet" of http://support.microsoft.com/kb/958233 -  "How to fix BlueScreen (STOP) errors that cause Windows Vista to shut down or restart unexpectedly"

I think you have it there, I'll go try it. I'm assuming the said steps should be done on "Don't restart when fail" mode?
EDIT: OK, how do I get to that mode? I get a BlueScreen before I get a chance to do everything needed. I went to "Boot Menu", but that was definitely not the menu I was looking for. How can one access a full Startup Menu? It only shows options concerning Safe Mode and "Start Windows normally" if I get another STOP error.

Start > Computer > Right click on C drive > Properties > Advanced system settings > Settings under Startup and recovery > Uncheck automatically reboot > Press ok

Now restart in normal mode and Wait for the BSOD.
Wright down the stop error, and hard reboot, and boot into safemode.
Go here:
http://support.microsoft.com/
Search for the exact words of the stop error.
Fix it.

Which words do I copy? It only shows the screen for a short time, so I can't copy everything.

Do the first instructions and it won't show for only a short time( the one with the arrows)
And copy everything with the line with STOP in it.

Nothing on **STOP:0x0000003B(0x00000000C0000005,0x0000000000000000,0xFFFFFA6005E56EE0,0x0000000000000000) there, apparently.
Reccomend I just use Syatem Restore and be done with it?

That's actually **STOP:0x0000003B(0xC0000005,0x00000000,0x05E56EE0,0x00000000).  Microsoft uses 32-bit numbers for STOP parameters.
