Okay what the hell is scvhost.exe, and I keep getting warnings from AVG about a "virus has been detected", and it's coming from my Temp folder Windows -System32- scvhost.exe, and this is from my XP as well. Next time one pop ups, I'll get a screenshot.

Don't kill SVCHOST.EXE.  As the name suggests, it hosts important system services like Remote Procedure Calls (RPCs), which are used for to access files and the such.

If it's infected, however, your OS is b0rked.  Reinstall ASAP.

e: That is an infected dupe.  SVCHOST.EXE is in C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32.

I plan on making this thing so it'll never work again when I get a new PC after Christmas. I don't have the CD because my last XP (this was one Home Edition), but the CD was trapped in my old XP's hard drive which has been gone for 7 years.
