Anything that tries to evolve at level 6 will also evolve at a later level. So simply get that 4 4 Hy to level 8 and it will try to evolve into Q.

But didn't Furfande say that he got it to Lv100 and it STILL didn't evolve.

I was under the impression that he said that he had another one at lv. 100.

Nonetheless, I'd know how 4 4 Hy behaves, as I raised one to lv. 255 and it tried to evolve every time I leveled it up.

Did you get your 4 4 Hy with the extanded Mew Trick ? Weird. Mine didn't evolve. Maybe that's because I am playing a French version of the game, and then, 4 4 Hy didn't evolve. What do you think ?

All of our research was done with the English-language versions. The most probable explanation is that 4 4 Hy behaves differently in the French version.

I heard it could be possible to have Q by extanding the mew's trick, using a special stat value of 255. Is that works on US games ? 'Cause if yes, it may works on FR game too.

No, you can't do the Ditto Trick with a special of 255.

So, you can't capture Q without Action Replay or evolving 4 4 Hy ?
Which means that European PAL versions are, one again, a piece of crap…

I may try with different languages. All English versions act the same (US, UK etc). I will try and find a french game. I almost bought one when I was in France, but my french is quite poor, so I decided not too.

[slightly offtopic] In the French version can you use an extended Alphabet in your name? It is just you could get different Pokemon with the Old man Trick.

Hi Newo

Unlike the US version, French versions don't allow you to put some numbers in your name. I don't know if we can have Q with the Old man Trick, but I heard it was possible with numbers. Since numbers are not allowed, we're stuck.

Well, no.
Numbers are not avaible on the US or UK versions.
When I said extended alphabet I meant Acutes and Graves and Circumflexes
Also you would find ZZAZZ not Q.

Ok, I thought so.

So the answer's no. We can't use them.
But I don't understand : What is ZZAZZ ?
