Glitch pokemon evolving immediately after catching

Okay, so I used the ditto trich to catch an "a" and after catching it, it evolved into a rhydon. It was level 2.
Could anyone explain why this happened, or share similar storys? Thankyou.

If you view a glitch's pokedex it reverts to a Rhydon.

How do I not view it? It shows the pokedex data immediately after catching, doesn't it?

Solution: Catch it again.

Yeah, it sucks, but that's probably the only way around it.
