so, I was playing pokemon red, not even thinking about glitches, when I was going to max my pidgeot's level to 100, the first thing i did was used my rare candies on it. I had 3 of them, and pidgeot was level 81. i used all 3, but i still had rare candy, it said rare candy x0! i used "rare candy x0 on pidgeot, checked bag, and i had 99 rare candies! also, some notes:

i had exactly 3 rare candies before doing this
pidgeot was level 81
i was in the route to the right of vermillion city
i had beaten the elite four
i had a full party at the time

try the same thing: have THREE rare candies, in the route RIGHT of VERMILLION CITY, with PIDGEOT level EIGHTY ONE, and a FULL PARTY. if you get 99 rare candies from this, let me know, otherwise, it was completely random.

Probably because in the place you were the number (value) 10 was a blank space. In other words, you had 103, and the "x0" was a "x100".

well, the thing is, my red version had never done ANY glitches! it was the very first glitch i ever did, and i wasn't even thinking about glitching it! so I don't know how i got 103 of them.

Weird. Sure you never fought a MissingNo. or 'M? Hmm…well you definitely did have 103, out of the random it's just weird though.

Yes, you had 103 Rare Candies, but how could they have all been in the same slot if you have never encountered any glitches?

Games have been know to glitch randomly.
