Random idea about the 190 leftover Pokemon

So, I got this idea… Say that these 190 Pokemon were ones that got saved for Pokemon Gold and Silver… I know this sounds stupid, and probably isn't right, but I propose an experiment: Let's catch these glitch Pokemon (i.e. ones with the hex numbers 1F, 20, et cetera; the list can be found at http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/List_of_Pok%C3%A9mon_by_index_number_%28Generation_I%29 ), then trade them to Gold and Silver. Since Pokemon R/B/Y and G/S/C were virtually on the same engine, maybe some of them will turn into the Pokemon they were meant to be. I think this might not work, though, since they might not be the same hex codes in R/B/Y as compared to in G/S/C.

Well, from my knowledge there's no leftover of them on GSC, and most got overwritten by non-glitch Pokémon. There are actually just 5 glitch Pokémon there (00, FC, FD, FE, FF) because of the lack of blank index values. I've never tried it, but transferring the 39 Missingnos. would most likely turn them into a Pokémon with the same index value (not sure since the real Pokémon have no ID connection between RBY and GSC).

This wont work. GSC converts them to particular Johto Pokémon, but they were just taken in order from the Pokédex, and are not the betas of what they were meant to be.

I thought that the Missingnos transformed into beta R/B pokemon when transferred, and the rest of the glitch pokemon go by pokedex number.

No, it goes like I said. There is even a complete table on my website.
