Based on this thread. Using the code 01xx3DCD in Japanese versions, you can extend the Pokédex to whatever length you want. A lot of Pokémon won't be seen, but this is only because the Pokémon you see depend on bytes past D2A0, beginning with the last bit of D2A0 and items (D2A1 is the number of items in the bag), so if these bytes are FF, you will be able to see Pokémon 152 and 8 more Pokémon for every extra byte.

Some of these Pokédex numbers have the name of and are real glitch Pokémon, e.g. (hex: CC) is number 174 and it appears under 174 in the extended Pokédex. You can find a list of Red/Green glitch Pokémon here
