TMTrainer item without number of items glitches

I've been trying to route "151 no underflow", and I was hoping I could use a TMTrainer item for the Yami Shop Glitch, but I can't use any invalid encounter flags to mutate an item enough to get a TMTrainer item. Does anyone know of a "safe" method to achieve a TMTrainer item, without any number of items glitches?

Use Cooltrainer to catch a glitch Pokemon that mutates items? You might have to go to a glitch city for the corruption, but this is a way.

Yeah, but luckytyphlosion said he couldn't find a way to get a TMTRAINER item with invalid encounter flags, even though you can now get 94 (who adds 16 to the identifier of the fourth item unless its dex entry is deemed to be set) easily with a double distort CoolTrainer.

For reference, in Pokémon Red/(Blue?)/Yellow, TMTRAINER items begin at hex:74.

Yeah, the mutation isn't high enough, glitch items can only reach up to item 10F.

I was thinking if you could destroy the FF at the end of the list, it would be super easy to get a TMTrainer item. I don't know any way to make this happen, unless there's a way to "unset" pokedex flags. (but if that could happen, you probably could mutate an HM to get a TMTrainer item)
