Nice. That's some great work well done. You even included the front sprite and back sprite pointers. Will you consider doing the same for Red and Blue please?

Ok, I will try to do it for Red and Blue, even (possibly) the JP versions.

I have plans to do something like this in french versions for ages, since the glitch Pokémons are very different. One day, I'll motivate me enough to start  ;D

I would guess the format is the same as in my chart, but I actually found out that the TM's are stored weird for some reason, i.e.:

1st byte: TM08, TM07, TM06, TM05, TM04, TM03, TM02, TM01,
2nd byte: TM16, TM15, TM14, TM13, TM12, TM11, TM10, TM09,

6th byte: none, HM05, HM04, HM03, HM02, HM01, TM50, TM49
This is why the chart took longer than expected. I'm just glad I found it out early on.

They are stored partly in reverse, if a Pokémon learns TM01 and TM06, then it is stored as:
00100001
Instead of:
10000100

So, bits 0 and 5 on. Like I say, it doesn't look weird…

What is an .xlsx file even used for? I've never seen this extension.

.docx, .pptx, .xlsx, etc. are the extensions for the XML-based zipped files that follow the Microsoft Office Open XML (OOXML) format and have been in use since Microsoft Office 2007. Unlike the old format used by Microsoft Office 2003 and earlier (file extensions: .doc, .ppt, .xls, etc.), you can rename these files with the .zip extension and extract their contents, which might be helpful in case you don't or can't have Microsoft Office.

Other similar software like LibreOffice instead use the OpenDocument format (ODF), which is also XML-based and zipped.

That is very helpful, thank you.

I'm currently porting it to google docs. I'm using a new-ish format, so it's gonna take a while. Current status: 40%
