From the Video Description:
In the 1.0 Revisions of Pocket Monsters Green and Yellow (I couldn't get this working in Red) Going out of bounds produces different effects from the localized variants and future v1.1 revisions. Rather than writing large portions of Memory with 0039, different effects occur.
Pocket Monsters Yellow produces a different effect to Green however the glitch will only partially work when on Super Gameboy mode, freezing after a certain point. On gameboy colour mode the game will continue to a glitched cycling road sequence and then the player will fly to a glitched route 10 and freeze
