I used that  glitch in pokemon blue that you turn off at a specific frame while saving for the 1st time and it gives you 255 pokemon (if im not mistaken!!)

By moving down the 10th pokemon enough times this menu option pops up instead of save and you cant select anything from the menu if you close it and open it again BUT if you dont close the menu it resets the game?? WTF can you point me to an explanation lol i didnt find anything…. is this some kind of debug feature??

Bella scoperta comunque!

Yes it seems that it is a debug feature. Probably known, but I had no knowledge of it. In the video, you use Pokémon 9 (not 10) and it should be working with any Pokémon from 1 to 9. In fact, if you do it directly with Pokémon 34 it should work too, the other steps seem useless… and that seems even normal since Pokémon 33 is the beginning of the memory area controlling flags. Nice finding anyway!

… or this is just the RESET that appears when linked in the Cable Club.

Possibly, meaning the (1-9)-34 switch would change the current mode for a "cable club mode" or something?

Yeah. The RESET option is not unused, and it replaces SAVE while you are in the Cable Club.

There is indeed an address you can modify to force it to appear anywhere, but I can no longer remember the details.

Well, now we can say it has to be located between $D717 and $D743 (english addresses) to be affected by this switch :)

For the record, I've checked this section of WRAM.

Bit 6 of $D72E ($D72D in Yellow, $D733 in european R/B, $D732 in european Yellow) must be full. You can put hex:40 as a value in this address for instance. :)
