Helo there!! I'm new in this forums, and I am from Argentina.

With a guy from Mexico we get celebi using a glitch, but now we want to get it with the legal form. So, all know the celebi trick of the japanese version (get the GS ball and talk to Kurt).
the gamesharks are hexadecimals values. See that the gameshark of bulbasaur is 01 and that same number is the hexadecimal value of that pokemon.
Ok, now see the hexadecimal value of the event when Kurt receives and examines the GS ball:

014089DA

If we group that numbers of two in two it would be:

01  40 89 DA

When we transform this values in pokemon they would be:

Bulbasaur    Kadabra    Porygon  Slugma

we try to take them in the PARTY and talk to Kurt, but it doesn't success.

So I need help of especialists or somebody to solve this of some form. Please give me ideas about this.

That wouldn't work,
The code is
01 = Starter (Still no idea why)
40 = New Value
89 = Part B
DA = Part A

It goes into the RAM like this:
Value 40 at offset DA89
Replacing whatever is in DA89 with 40

The offset for Pokemon are not near each other and wouldn't effect the game at all. Even if it did manage to read it as a gameshark code it would have no effect because the Gameshark changes values of the RAM using the data you put in. The game would not be able to use it in the same way.

But then may I have possibilities to activate the event or not?

and I don't understand very well this:

The code is
01 = Starter (Still no idea why)
40 = New Value
89 = Part B
DA = Part A

That is how the code works.

01 is in it… Maybe means replace, I am not sure.
Then it is

XX @AABB For example is FF@CFD8

The code is then arranged 01XXBBAA

So the example version is 01FFD8CF

But simply, no it wouldn't work

The 01 is a control code for the Gameshark. GB Gamesharks only have 01 as a possibility (which basically means "replace ($YYXX) with ZZ," 01ZZXXYY), while N64 and others have some other control codes.

when I wrote my first post I forgot to mention that I have the GS BALL with a glitch. So, my question is if exists a way so that Kurt receives the GS BALL without gameshark, what is to say, deceive the game in any way and finally activate the event.

Yes, I can.

First yo need to do the celebi glitch that yo can found in this link:

http://forums.glitchcity.info/index.php/topic,1065.0.html.

The post say somewhere (after explain the celebi glitch) That we can take adventage of this glitch with the "ANY ITEM TRICK" there explain all you have to do to get a GS BALL.
