Sorry, I'm afraid like Chikorita, Cyndaquil, Totodile it's not possible in Generation II due to its ratio 87.5% male. In order for a Pokémon to be Shiny, it must have an Attack IV of 2, 3, 6, 7, 10, 11, 14, or 15 and Defense, Speed, (internal Special) of 10. Applying 2A AA (the lowest DV Shiny) unfortunately doesn't produce a female Aerodactyl, because female Aerodactyl must have Attack DVs of 0 or 1 (i.e. we'd replace the 2A with 0X, 1X); so 2/16 or 1/8 (12.5%) are female but none are female and Shiny. Other Pokémon with different ratios can be Shiny and female, such as Shiny Pichu (50/50), Shiny Blissey (100% female).
Is it possible to make Aerodactyl female?
I use the coin case and change the box names to make Pokemon 1 a Shiny Female.
