New development on Crystal Cloning glitch!

Here is the post for historical purposes…
It turns out that, if you do the Crystal Cloning Glitch with certain monsters, you get different results.
Ex. If you do it with Zapdos, Articuno, or Moltres, you can expect a normal and healthy clone. I've done this multiple times, much to my bafflement. I kept on wondering why all of the sudden my clones were turning out ok…
Yet, if you use Kingdra, the name becomes glitched (changes to about 100 question marks, plus some map tiles thrown in for good measure. You have to mash the buttons very quickly to get the display to show up when Withdrawing the Kingdra before the game decides to lock up.)
So… perhaps FF can be obtained by employing the Crystal Cloning Glitch on the correct monster. (Or, perhaps it has something to do with level, stats, name, etc. I can't say for certain.)
This also seems to explain why some users (Paco for example) have gotten glitchy monsters when performing the same trick on a Gold or Silver cart.
This could also lead to other possibilities as well… who knows what could happen when a certain monster becomes glitched like this (Celebi anyone?)
Edit: Your timing still has to be pretty sharp:
-If you reset too early, the Pokemon will stay in your party, and nothing changes in the box.
-If you reset too early, but later than in the above instance, you may get a healthy clone (even with Kingdra and the like).
-If you reset too late, then the Pokemon is simply deposited as normal, and will not appear in your party.
The timing is like trying to do a reversal throw in Street Fighter II. I'm thinking you have less than 10 frames at some point past the period in the "DO NOT TURN POWER OFF" sentence to pull it off. I'd figure out the exact number if the bloody frame advancement function in VBA worked for old GB and GBC carts.
