In Pokémon Ruby, you can use code 0202FF5E:XXXX to modify Elite Four Sidney in the Pokémon League. 000 to 2B5 are valid, but can be glitchy and/or unused. 2B6+ and beyond however are glitch Trainers. https://tcrf.net/Pok%C3%A9mon_Ruby_and_Sapphire#Unused_Trainers

Post your finds here. :) Not sure if Pokémon other than Level 0 Decamarks are common as of now.

I'll post the ones I can test as well:
3B7, 2D3, 2C4, 2FB, 5FF,  soft-lock the game before the battle sequence starts
2C3, 2C6, 333 crash the whole game

2C5: Roster with decamarks, standard battle.

Thanks for your help! I wonder if we can find a Trainer without a fainted Decamark as the Pokémon they send out.

Appears like it may be a Double Battle. However, forces Safari Zone with only one Pokémon seen. May actually be a Single Battle and the arrow was printed via control character in the name? (but Double Battles are possible with different IDs of the code)

5687:

Fisherman sprite. It caused a green tinted screen and the game to lock up at "R" in the text box.

21FE: Non-freezing Double Battle with two fainted ??????????  21FF: Team Magma/Aqua battle music plays but game locks up 220A: Seems like a mix between Battle Tower mode and Safari Zone. Every time I defeated the ?????????? a new one came out (unlike the other indices).

9999 is a glitch trainer that triggers a double battle but softlocks the game once it sends the Decamark
2000 is a Magma guy with a long name
2019 is the Aqua girl and has an unterminated name
30F0 is a Magma dude but once he loads crashes the game

3000 is a glitch trainer that freezes when it has to show the roster

3F00 does the same but is a witch

3CFF has the Aqua/Hydro leader music but crashes and makes a noise like the ones you get when you unplug your cart

ACAB triggers a double battle but crashes right after you send out your Pokémon turning the whole screeen purple.

FAAA and FAAB for some unknown reason slows down the game to half the framerate. Might be something mGBA related.

FA26 triggers a double battle and the Trainer is a Brendan named ùLOLAù
FA2C attempts to trigger a battle against Steven but crashes once it tries to show what the trainer looks like

FA45: Triggers the Steven theme, glitches the screen and slows the game down a lot

FA4A and FA4F triggers a double battle and has a glitchy name with arrows
FA4B triggers a double battle with AROMA LADY O IA and slows the game down

FA50: Aqua/Magma leader music, crashes the game (also first time seeing the main female trainer as opponent!)

FA56 triggers the female avatar again

FA5A triggers a flashing screen while entering the battle sequence and crashes the game, FA61 FA70 and do the same but slows down the game when it has to show the trainer

FA5C changes the text and crashes when you send out your Pokémon

FA74 uses a Wally sprite!

FA8E glitches the background and then freezes the game

FA9D: Champion bug catcher

FABD: Youngster with long name, triggers safari mode

FAD5: Random colours flashing, nice seizure inducer

FADD has a ROSTER but crashes before sending out her Pokémons!

Random.org for binary gave me 9860 to put on the code. Doesn't crash but the 5 mons are all question marks. Seems to be a link battle.

ab2c and 43d1 have a name so long it glitches the whole screen

9003 triggers random colours and crashes

7BCF gives money unlike most which gave me 0$

D3AC triggers a double wild battle + link (I suppose???) which the 2nd Pokémon you'll send out is literally the first one. The sprite behind ?????????? is the one of my Pokémon blacked (in this case Starmie)

C0A0 triggers a glitchy wild battle against ?????????? which needs a master ball to be caught, any other ball will glitch the graphics and freeze the game
