Strange pastoria glitch in platinum

If you go back and forth between pastoria city and the route to the left of it(I forget what route it is) lag occurs while passing through them.
Could this be exploited?
Also, anyone notice the lag in hearthoome when riding your bike? IT's not as bad as the patoria/route 216(I think it may be that anyway) lag, but it is noticeable.

Bad framerate, maybe?
