You thought they learned from the SW/SH + exFAT autosave fiasco?  ::)

Gosh that's scary. Reminds me of that bug with a certain Fire Emblem Switch game.

"this bug can softlock your game"
proceeds to do save corruption
… what did you expect?

(although tbf there should of been some sort of checksuming thing stopping this lol)

Hi! This is gonna be my first post because I can't find much else to contribute to in the forums.

Doing a quick search of 'Pokemon Mystery Dungeon DX Bug' in Japanese brought me to a page with a few glitches listed.
http://angry-mhm.com/%E3%80%90%E3%83%9D%E3%82%B1%E3%83%80%E3%83%B3dx%E3%80%91%E8%A3%8F%E6%8A%80%E3%83%BB%E3%82%A8%E3%83%A9%E3%83%BC%E3%82%84%E3%83%90%E3%82%B0%E3%81%AE%E8%A7%A3%E6%B1%BA%E6%B3%95%E3%83%BB%E5%B0%8F%E6%8A%80/

Almost none of them have actual screenshots so I have no idea if they're legit, but they're minor glitches to start with so why not share them.
Glitches that were encountered were:

1. Error message after autosaving
2. Play time display error: One person got 999:59:59 on the day they bought it, and another person's play time decreased to less than an hour from 34 hours.
3. Partner pokemon disappearing (graphic display error,) fixed after soft resetting
4. Freezing problems: A freeze while going upstairs (the music continued,) after choosing starter Pokemon, while choosing partner Pokemon. All were fixed after soft resetting.
5. Walked through the rescue bulletin board while trying to check it; was not able to get out of from behind the bulletin board.
6. The button stopped reacting at an event scene. Was not fixed even after soft resetting, but was fixed after hard resetting.

None of them sound really interesting, though.

Thanks for bumping this topic I'm subscribed to - since I have reliable (trusted 2nd hand) proof of this one :)

This friend of mine got hit by this issue some time between unlocking Magma Cavern and defeating Rayquaza, when he noticed the time maxing out; he estimated his actual play time as "9 hours, plus 4/5 in the dojo, plus forgetting it on for some time"…
*
…two days later (2020-3-14), after catching Articuno and Moltres he went for Zapdos, and soon after that he noticed the timer had gone down to 2h51m!

* unrelated to the above, at that time I sent him a photo I found on reddit of yet another glitch, attached to this post!

I did read that the software was patched around early~mid March (I don't remember the exact date but I'm sure it wouldn't be hard to find online) but I guess there were more glitches left unfixed…
It's still kinda surprising because I feel like a play time display glitch would be something both extremely noticeable and easy to fix.

The Missingno aesthetic (no I am not calling it a MissingNo.) Swampert looks badass though LOL I love it!!
