Agusganog's Competitive DP Teams

NOTE: These were created before I owned the game and were played with on
Shoddy Battle, a Pokemon battle simulator. This thread will be updated as I dig through my posts on several competitive battling forums. In this simulator, any Pokemon that you could POSSIBLY have is allowed on a team.

Sandstorm Team with Taunt Skarmory {01}

Hippowdon@Leftovers
Impish (Sandstream)
236 Hp,  186 Def, 88 SpDef
-Stealth Rock
-Slack Off
-Roar
-Earthquake

Phazer. Also sets up rocks. Forces opponent to switch Pokemon, racking up Stealth Rocks damage and gimping Focus Sashes. Also sets up Sandstorm.

Skarmory@Leftovers
Impish (Sturdy)
252 HP, 64 Def, 194 Spd
-Roost
-Spikes
-Taunt
-Drill Peck

WHAT NOW!!!! Outspeeds BulkyGyara by 1 (or two?) point(s). Taunt stops opposing Forretress/Skarm who try to lay down spikes while laying down its own. Prevents enemies from using stat increasing moves or healing.

Blissey@Leftovers
Calm (Pressure)
20 HP, 252 Def, 238 SpDef
-Seismic Toss
-Wish
-Protect
-Ice Beam

Takes special hits. I had Light Screen Zapdos here, but found decided that I needed Wish support. IF YOU CHALLENGE ME AND YOU FAIL,
^^NetBattle User Info is so hilarious^^
Seriously, Wish-Protect is great for PP stalling.

Tentacruel@Leftovers
Calm (Liquid Ooze)
212 HP, 94 Def, 164 SpDef, 36 Spd
-Hydro Pump
-Sludge Bomb
-Toxic Spikes
-Rapid Spin

MixApe counter. Sets up the Toxic Spikes and spins stuff away. Added bonus of absorbing the Toxic Spikes. Counters Breloom pretty well to.

Swampert@Leftovers
Relaxed (Torrent)
240 HP, 212 Def, 56 SpAtk
-Hydro Pump
-Earthquake
-Ice Beam
-Stone Edge

Don't you tell me what to do. Mixed attacker that hits everything hard.

Spiritomb@Leftovers
Calm (Pressure)
252 HP, 112 Def, 144 SpDef
-Shadow Ball
-Rest
-Sleep Talk
-HP Fighting

Blockage of the spin and counter of the MixGar.

Heatran and Celebi Team {02}

Forretress@Leftovers
Relaxed (Sturdy)
252 HP, 94 Def, 164 SpDef
-Gyro Ball
-Earthquake
-Light Screen
-Toxic Spikes

Weavile counter + Magnezone counter. Receives Wish support from vappy. Not sure whether or not to lead with him. Sets up Light Screen and then Earthquakes Magnezone switch-ins. Lays down Toxic Spikes for the team. Gyro ball hits Weavile and EQ can break Boah subs iirc. If Boah isn't running T-Bolt its out of luck.

Celebi@Leftovers
Bold (Natural Cure)
252 HP, 194 Def, 32 SpAtk, 32 SpD
-Recover
-Leech Seed
-Substitute
-Grass Knot

Gyara counter. Leech Seed + Recover + Leftovers= NO DIE. Leech Seed can be beneficial for Raikou and other team members if Wish support is too hard to get too. Recover provides reliable healing.

Heatran@Shed Shell
Modest (Flash Fire)
128 HP, 180 SpAtk, 200 Spd
-Rest
-Sleep Talk
-Lava Plume
-Earth Power

Celebi and Heatran are the best defensive pair imo. Not sure what to do with the EVs. Shed Shell to escape Dugtrio blah. Lava Plume over Flamethrower for the Burn Hax, and Earth Power to hit Magnezone and other Electrics/Rocks harder (i'm magnezone paranoid).

Vaporeon@Leftovers
Calm (Water Absorb)
70 HP, 252 SpDef, 188 SpAtk
-Surf
-Ice Beam
-Wish
-Toxic

Wish support is great. Toxic hits flyers and levitaters. Ice Beam for Dragon switch-ins. Primary special wall (with help from Light Screen). Passes Wish around to Forretress, Raikou, and Machamp.

Raikou@Leftovers
Timid (Pressure)
100 HP, 216 Spd, 96 SpAtk, 96 SpDef
-Thunderbolt
-HP Ice
-Substitute
-Calm Mind

Sweeps stuff. It?s fun to Leech Seed and then switch over to Raikou and get lotsa HP recovery every turn. Subs and Calm Minds for the massive damage.

Machamp@Choice Band
Adamant (Guts)
252 Atk, 212 Def, 46 Spd
-Cross Chop
-Stone Edge
-Ice Punch
-Fire Punch

Takes status and benefits from it. STAB + Choice Band + Guts + Cross Chop = Win.

==========================================================

Electrode for the Win {03}

Electrode@Leftovers
Timid (Static)
188 Def, 106 SpDef, 216 Spd
-Thunderwave
-Toxic
-Protect
-Thunderbolt

Electrode leads are great. Thunderwave hits sweepers while Toxic hits walls. Protect can scout the opponents next move and help Toxic deal some damage. Don't tell me to change the EVs. He outspeeds ScarfPhlosion by a point (or two) and takes hits better with EVs in the defenses rather than in HP (for those of you who didn't know, a 1:1 ratio of HP to Defense is optimal for taking damage).

Metagross@Leftovers
Adamant (Clear Body)
156 HP, 136 Atk, 128 Def, 88 SpDef
-Meteor Mash
-Earthquake
-Thunderpunch
-Reflect

ReflectgOOse is amazing. Reflect helps out my Physical walls and can help Garchomp Swords Dance up. Meteor Mash still beats Weavile and can give a timely attack boost. Also can 2HKO Blissey with it, which it would not be able to do with Bullet Punch. Thunderpunch is for Gyara, who will run from Electride's Thunderbolt anyways.

Garchomp@Life Orb
Naughty (Sand Veil)
16 Atk, 252 SpAtk, 240 Spd
-Swords Dance
-Earthquake
-Draco Meteor
-Fire Blast

ChainChomp is made of win. Swords Dance lures the enemy into a false sense of security, and then Draco Meteor and Fire Blast sweep teams. Earthquake will 1HKO Blissey after a Swords Dance iirc.

Gliscor@Leftovers
Impish (Sand Veil)
252 HP, 24 Atk, 158 Def, 76 Spd
-Ice Fang
-Earthquake
-Roost
-Stealth Rock

Lays down the rocks and slays the physical Dragons. Earthquake 3HKOes Hera iirs. Earthquake for some nice STAB. Roost is nice recovery, and can make T-Tar's Stone Edge deal even less damage once my Flying type is gone (76 spd EVs outspeed Jolly T-Tar by 2 points iirc).

Tentacruel@Leftovers
Calm (Liquid Ooze)
212 HP, 96 Def, 164 SpDef, 36 Spd
-Hydro Pump
-Sludge Bomb
-Toxic Spikes
-Rapid Spin

Tentacruel is arguably the best Toxic Spikes layer there is. He makes a nice Infernape counter. Rapid Spin is obvious.

Blissey@Leftovers
Calm (Natural Cure)
20 HP, 252 Def, 238 SpDef
-Wish
-Protect
-Ice Beam
-Seismic Toss

This WishBliss is on every team I makeā€¦ Gives Wish to Tentacruel, Metagross and possibly Garchomp. Protect helps with scouting Choice users and also helps with ToxiStalling. Ice Beam discourages Dragon switch-ins and hits them hard. Seismic Toss is for pokemon that resist Ice Beam or would take more damage from it than Ice Beam.

Flail Gyrados is Awesome {04}

Gyarados@Liechi Berry
Adamant (Intimidate)
252 Atk, 252 Spd, 6 SpDef
-Dragon Dance
-Substitute
-Flail
-Waterfall

Credit goes to Katsy (or, I heard about it from him anyways). Subs down while DDing and sweeps entire teams with Flail and Waterfall. Looking back at my logs, this guy swept 7 teams BY HIMSELF of the 15 that I won using this team.

Donphan@Leftovers
Impish (Sturdy)
252 HP, 252 Def, 6 SpDef
-Earthquake
-Stealth Rock
-Roar
-Rapid Spin

A fairly standard Donphan, but I chose not to run Ice Shard so that he can Phaze, lay down rocks and spin them away. Takes Rock and Electric aimed at Gyara.

Blissey@Leftovers
Calm (Natural Cure)
20 HP, 252 Def, 238 SpDef
-Ice Beam
-Seismic Toss
-Wish
-Protect

Standard WishBliss spread, but with an EV change. DO NOT TELL ME TO CHANGE THE EVS. I won't. This spread is a personal favorite of mine that allows Blissey to take hits even better from the Special Side while retaining  some defense.

Metagoose@Leftovers
Adamant (Clear Body)
156 HP, 136 Atk, 128 Def, 84 SpDef, 6 Spd
-Reflect
-Bullet Punch
-Earthquake
-Thunderpunch

Yay for Relfectgoose. Yes the EVs are right. Yes I want Bullet Punch over Meteor Mash. Bullet Punch = Dead Weavile. Takes Ice and Grass aimed at Donphan.

Cresselia@Leftovers
Modest (Levitate)
204 HP, 80 Def, 226 SpAtk
-Psychic
-Ice Beam
-Rest
-Sleep Talk

Beats MixApe and MixVire as well as DDMence. The EVs and Nature allow it to one-hit MixApe. Takes ground.

Gengar@Choice Scarf
Modest (Levitate)
50 HP, 252 SpAtk, 208 Spd
-Shadow Ball
-Thunderbolt
-HP Ice
-Destiny Bond

Late game sweeper if Gyara is dead. EVs outspeed Ninjask by 2 points (any less EVs would result in a speed-tie due to scarf). Destiny Bond is a great way to get rid of him when he has done his duty.
