I disagree with it suggesting that games 'are too easy nowadays' however it is true to some extent, for example Pokémon Red and Blue were made easier than Pokémon Green which featured the champion with higher level Pokémon. That hasn't stopped developers making hardcore games though; whilst some games were claimed to be too hard such as 'SMB the lost levels' Nintendo have re-released that game on the virtual console as well making new games to appeal for gamers who want a challenge.

It says that they're too hard, which is why YHTBTR is easy.

….Ok, that was kind of easy. So what is so great about this game?

Simple but not buggy, unique in its shortness, random details that are never used such as weapons and not being able to die, and of course the ending song.

It's actually meant to be a tongue-in-cheek parody of the success of a certain other game that has a few simple puzzles (I disagree on this point, but whatever) and a crappy song at the end. You know the one.
