Insert Text 'Ere

This is a stupid game I made up (Well, this might have been done before I thought of it, but I wouldn't know). Basically, someone posts a sentence with a blank, and the second poster posts a word to fill in that blank and another sentence with a blank to continue the story, ad infinitum.

For example:
Poster 1:
The _______ said, "Hand over those scones!"

Poster 2:
gnome

However, the gnome didn't know that the scones had _____ inside them!

Poster 1:
a bomb

The scone went BOOM!, causing sounds of ______ to erupt from those around it.

… and so on and so forth.

I'll start.


Gammaman was on the losing end of the epic battle. As Scourge loomed closer, gloating, Gammaman prepared his _______, which he believed was more than enough to turn the tables on the evil villain.
