ItemDex work begins - Page 1

ItemDex work begins

Right now, I'm beginning my work on the ItemDex. I'm well aware PichuUmbreon and others have already done some work, but Pichu is an even worse slacker than me (I DIDN'T KNOW IT WAS POSSIBLE EITHER), once again prompting me to take matters into my own hands.

Expect it done by Valentine's Day. (actually you're probably better off expecting it done by Easter)

Melchior 7 is now up to hex 91.

I think M7 can be done by this weekend, meaning the Item Dex will indeed be done before Valentine's day.

Interesting discoveries -

* Hex 84 (Trade completed!) and 88 (D) act as Pok? Balls (albeit somewhat weak ones)
* Hex 89 (E) does the same function as the "Pok?Dex" item - it simply brings up the pok?dex
* 8F (Battle Animation), 90 (Battle Style), and 91 (Cancel) sometimes trigger a "Rival's"/"Nickname"/"Name" effect (the "walk through walls" one). Cancel also acts as a Potion, both in battle and out.

How much HP does it restore?

I'm not really sure. I didn't have a Pokemon with enough HP to do a real test of that - all my pokes were under lv 10 I think

Why are you planning to get it done before Valentine's Day? Are you going out on a date with the ItemDex? o_O

No, I just wanted a clear, concise deadline.

I could just as easily push the deadline to the 15th, I guess :P
