Heh. If Izz were here he'd say "NO MAC!!1", and, well… I haven't used a MAC in a long time, but I'm good with my Win2000, so I'd go with Micro$oft.

U don't know what ur missing.  Mac has changed for the better!  Much more good stuff.  Check out apple.com for specs on Mac OS 10.4 tiger.  Lotta goodies, and the next microbrained OS will litteraly ripping off these features!

Linux pwns Macs. I don't really know where Microsoft fits in there. My PC dual-boots off of Linux and WinXP, and I'm not completely loyal to either. From what I've seen, though, Macs don't support many programs and are used by so few people that Mac support is becoming increasingly rare. However, Apple does make some awesome programs that only work on Mac, like GarageBand.

Try the fact that apple created a computer that when measured, its biggest dimension is 6 INCHES!!!!!  Not kidding.  Plus, there is dashboard, automator, spotlight, and so on.  Just check the dang site and look at the operating system info.  Most of all for proof:  Windows will be copying the "widgets" idea of dashboard and will just be renaming it.  Same with spotlight.  Linux is okay, I don't mind it.  Unfortunately, VV||\|o|Oz3 SUC|<S!

And white dragon bionut:  OF COURSE IT DiD NOT WORK THE SAME AS WINDOZE!!!!!  THAT IS MY POINT!!!  I TOOK A LITTLE WHILE GETTING USED TO IT TOO!  I felt the same way you do now.  Jus give it a week or two.
You'll find the interface friendlier.

And why should we care about that?

Plus, there is dashboard, automator, spotlight, and so on.

Chances are nobody here who doesn't se mac has a clue what that means.

Most of all for proof:  Windows will be copying the "widgets" idea of dashboard and will just be renaming it.  Same with spotlight.

Same comment as above.

Unfortunately, VV||\|o|Oz3 SUC|<S!

Now, now, leetspeeking doesn't help your arguement.

You'll find the interface friendlier.

That sounds like one of those stupid "omg 0nce u uze mac ul nevr go bak" sentences that can't be proven.

Dashboard- collection of widgets (little java apps you can download at apple.com) you can use for various tasks.
Automator- Drag and drop interface for making small apps and plugins to do those repetitive tasks for you.
Spotlight- Like google for your system.  You can search for files on ur computer with a little icon at the top of the screen.

Pics coming soon.

The Dashboard and Automator really aren't that big of a deal. Anyone who wanted a similar function and had any programming skill could throw something together that has about the same effect. I'm actually working on something like that right now…

And Google Desktop Search already exists, and for Windows. :P

Edit: Oh, and IMHO, from what I've heard about Mac's OS X, it seems terrible. It has all of the inconviniences of a UNIX-based system without being open-source like Linux. So you get all of the cons with none of the pros.
