Let me think…

1) Faulty RAM
2) Drive-by-downloads.
3) 'Storm virus' (actually makes a computer part of a botnet)
4) Spyware :P
5) Rootkits.
6) XDCC rootkits.

Get AntiVir antivirus software (free) and check again for viruses.
Also any suspicious stuff check @ VirusTotal.

It probably doesn't help that my computer runs on Windows ME.

Install some other operating system, such as Windows 2000 or Linux.

I can't. My computer doesn't have enough megabytes to hold them.

I think the problem has fixed itself.
