I'm not really sure why the game does that, but I haven't seen a Rhydon yet in the Pokedex.

Attempting to cover up anything unstable, I assume.

You think I should add info about your glitch Pokedex getting messed up and having 221 everywhere?

Nar.

I think it does it with anything that isn't meant to be in the Pok?dex.

Nice.

Oddly enough, the numbers on the Pokedex don't correspond to actual glitch Pokemon (7PkMnv is a Tentacruel hybrid, not #181).

The glitch Pokedex can be changed by getting some items.

What items exactly?

I think any kind of items, but some Pokemon disappeared when I replaced the CANCEL "item" with a Pokeflute.

So does this mean the data in the glitched Pokedex is dependant on the items in the player's pack?

Yeah. I did this because there was that thread telling about glitch Pokemon changing your items.

But there, the glitch Pokemon were changing the items.

Here, the items are changing the Pokedex.

Very cool. I like this. But it would be better if it worked as a glitchdex. Maybe there is an item that may do so?

I like this glitch aswell.. The pokedex in the items, forced into use by a Gameshark, gives glitch pokemon above #151. Hmm, maybe I could find out the item related changes here.

Changing the item hex to FF seems to do the most, unshockingly.

Fills 161 - 169 with random normals, and one thing called a "g█":

It makes a weird cry which sounds like a flame, and it's name appears different if you attempt to view it's area (most likely due to a spriteset change):

Viewing it's data simply white-screens you, and the music eventually stops too.

The other hex references will probably do completely different things however, making this information pretty useless.
