This isn't his thread, he doesn't have authority to request that it be locked.

Anyway, going back to the original topic - I installed Ubuntu using Wubi last week. It's working perfectly now, I have Opera and XChat and TiLP (TI linking program for linux) and all the other nice crap that comes with Linux

Desktop's at http://kayllera.no-ip.org/mindscrewbuntu.png, I don't think I'll be going back to Windows any time soon.

P.S. you don't have to use command line apt-get to install packages; Synaptic is much more user-friendly (user-friendlier?)

And I could of locked it anyway If I wanted it locked(Users can lock/unlock there own threads, but they can't unlock it if it was lcoked by a moderator/admin.)
Anyway, I'm thinking about reinstalling Xubuntu again. I still have wubi and the ISO somewere.
Edit:Actually I'm thinking about installing it on a virtual machineā€¦

I am installing Xubuntu 9.04 (Jaunty) via Wubi.

However, it's not on the main drive; it's on the secondary partition thereof.

It's a 15GB image on a 68GB drive.

Anything I should know about to avoid fucking up Server 2003 on the primary partition?

:O DOUBLEPOST :O

I installed Xubuntu via Wubi.  After rebooting into Xubuntu, Ubiquity ran fine; however, after it was done, it dropped me back to the command line, and when I typed

startx

my computer restarted.

Help?
