Anyone (other than me) ever encounter a QR code?
My new phone (not here yet… *growl*) has a QR reader built into it.

A QR Code is a matrix code (or two-dimensional bar code) created by Japanese corporation Denso-Wave in 1994. The "QR" is derived from "Quick Response", as the creator intended the code to allow its contents to be decoded at high speed. QR Codes are common in Japan where they are currently the most popular type of two dimensional code.


(Bonus: If you scan that with the appropriate mobile software, it links you to GCL!)

Huh. Never seen one of those. I've messed around with Code 39 before though.

Yes, bump I know. But I do have information to add here.  One location where I've encountered these codes is Greenday's new facebook page.

I think the QR codes give you the image but I have no way of knowing.
