Pushing Fallout 4 to its limit

I'm pushing Fallout 4 to the breaking point… I can run it (at 25 FPS!!!) on a 2.4 GHz 4-core 64-bit processor… and 8 GB of DDR2 RAM… I… I don't even know how I got it to work, but I do know it took LOTS AND LOTS OF GIMP.

Any ideas on WHY this works?
