What just happened?

I got up this morning at about 9:00 and the fourums nor the main site page would show up!  It had the "Page Cannot Be Displayed" crap.  However, I could use the internet normally, that aside.  It came back up about 10:30.  Was the site down momentairily, or was it just me?

Yeah… I was running 2000 until yesterday. To be honest, 2000 was enough, but I was getting some problems with it. Plus I wanted to try out Internet Explorer 7.

I use Windows XP, too. I like it, but sometimes I think I would be better off downgrading to 2000 because XP sucks memory like nothing else. (Windows Vista will probably be worse… >_>)

I really don't do too much on this Dell of mine, but I have XP and IE.  Just internet surfing and solitare.  And spriting.  But that's it.

Umm, the site seems to be down during the night sometimes. I am often up that late.

I had Automatic Updates turned on… while I'm asleep it would occasionally download assorted stuff from Micro$oft, install it, and reboot.

I use *gasp* Windows ME.
But it looks spectacular when it BSOD's- it is a black screen with green text.
(I used BSOD Properties- doesn't work in Windows XP- XD)
(BSOD Properties can be found at: http://toastytech.com/files/bsod.html)
Are you tired of the same old blue screen of death? Well say good-bye blue screen and hello to green screen, or purple screen, or black screen of death! Just download this simple little utility called BSOD Properties and select your favorite color.

This program makes use of some old Windows 3.1 options in the system.ini file that have been long forgotten, but are still present in Windows 95, 98, and ME. Unfortunately this program has no effect on Windows NT 3.x, 4, 2000, or XP.

awesome. You know, Some people say it would be better to downgrade to 98, because ME is the buggiest OS ever
