Does this site not support Unicode?

I went on it with Unicode on and instead of a real site, a page appeared with a bunch of question marks and Chinese/Kanji. (I can't tell the difference between the two)

Unicode is a superset of ASCII. The site uses ASCII. Therefore, it should be supported.

Unicode is a superset of ASCII. The site uses ASCII. Therefore, it should be supported.

Oh, I used Unicode UTF-16. I could only fix it when I set it to User Defined.

UTF-16 and higher are the only real problem-causers. I wonder why…
