Tribute to my Shiny Flygon (2008-2010)

So, I decided to write a tribute to my now nonexistent shiny Flygon. I figured that since there's so many shallow break-up songs in which the singer baws about his girlfriend of a week ditching him, I'd write a song about something that actually mattered.

I'm not good a songwriting either, so enjoy the terrible rhymes.

One day, way back when I was 14
I encountered the greatest thing Ive ever seen
Sick off of school for that entire week
On Pokemon Emerald, things were getting bleak

Route 111 is where I headed next
Into battle, there I saw that famous text
It said that a wild Trapinch had appeared
And I thought, Huh, its coloured kind of weird

Then I realized what I was fighting now
I had to catch it but I wasnt sure how
Three Great Balls were all I had in store
If I dont catch it, I wont want to live anymore

Fly away we have more battles to face today
Well defeat them all and we will always find a way
All hail the dragon king, the one to rule them all
Shiny Flygon will rise, and everyone else will fall

The battles raged on and still we won
One last Dragonbreath, and then the showdown was done
Green, blue and orange, the colours of Gods
Bulkier than Rhydon, faster than a Pidgeot

Our journey led us to the Pokemon league
We carried on and victory we soon achieved
Then we cleared the facilities at the Battle Frontier
After all the trials, we finally knew no fear

Wed been through so much over the years
Reduced our enemies to tears
But all good things had to come to an end
Now he's gone, and to PokéHeaven he shall ascend


Fly away we have more battles to face today
Well defeat them all and we will always find a way
All hail the dragon king, the one to rule them all
Shiny Flygon will rise, and everyone else will fall

We defeated some kids team of Arceus at the mall

4:13 PM was the time
When I committed the heinous crime
As the new game datas saving in front of me…
FLYGON WILL NEVER BE FREEEE!

Great!! I had a green rattata from the twin caves in my gold, but the save disappeared because of the battery of the game… My first shiney pokémon that wasn't the one in the lake… I'm not as good as you, so I won't try…

I didn't even try, I was just looking for one and the first one I got was a shiny.

Yes, I did mean it's the song I wouldn't try, I don't even know what a Flygon is, but seems like it did Fly away, and now it's gone
(quand je joue avec les mots, ça vole bas!-> I'm very awful with humour based on words)

Hah, I kind of had some weird mashup of like, Queen, Tom Jones, and Who Let the Dogs Out.

Queen I can see. Don't know how Tom Jones would fit (IT'S NOT UNUSUAL TO LOVE SHINY FLYGONS/IT'S NOT UNUSUAL TO HAVE FUN WITH SHINY FLYGONS).
