R/B steb counter?

I think this is the step counter value for R/B (see attached images).

No, the step counter would be in word format. Aka. XX XX and would only be in use in the Safari Zone.  That's most likely your X co-ordinate value.

I don't think so.  When I set it to 00 then it just started counting down again.

It's basicly just there since a step counter would be made of more than one byte in the RAM and would count up.

See those numberss to the left? Count up in hexes on that line. 

Yours is D13B.
