Hey, I was wondering: Where did you learn to ROMhack? And, furthermore, what resources do you think are a good place to start learning? I'm a little interested in this hobby.

(Also, I'm sorry that I haven't been active in so freaking long.)

1. Pokered

2.Floating IPS

3. Knowledge of gbz80 (tutorials are numerous)

If you're looking for information on Generation I and II, I highly recommend Skeetendo. They are a forum full of experts on Pokémon Game Boy hacking:

It's also useful (especially for Generations I and II) to have a hex editor. I like to use HxD, which is free software.

There are also many tools designed to help you with hacking the Pokémon games. I'm unsure where you can find them but there are links on the Skeetendo forum, DataCrystal and Zophar's Domain (if I recall correctly).

GB-PC (a pointer calculator) is also useful.
