Migrating ? Pokemon from Emerald to Diamond/Pearl???

I'm sure you all know of the ? Pokemon from Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald versions (like the ones in Newo's newest YouTube video). I was just wondering if anyone had caught one and migrated it to Diamond/Pearl, and what the effects were. If somebody has confirmed 100% that there is NO way it can erase your save data, I was going to migrate one and add it to my Diamond team for research :)

I think D/P has a mechanism to prevent that, similar to G/S/C's error trap.

Or maybe it would be like equivalent trade. But yes, most likely it would just give an error message. In GSC, there was a specific one for that, trying to trade glitches to those games was so common.

MissingNo. doesn't exist in Diamond/Pearl, or anything but RBY for that matter.

Blank is missingNo.
Thought once you catch it you have A 50% chance of it freezing at the pokedex screen
other then that it has no other effect cause you can't select it at all

I suppose you could get that through the "equivalent trade" theory if you migrate over whatever is 0000…but anything else glitch PkMn would be either a 4th generation PkMn or a Decamark (those are still placeholders in D/P right?). Also, an easy way to be called a noob is to call a glitch PkMn "MissingNo." when it isn't that. Most of us would think you meant the actual MissingNo.. Just a quick warning ;).

1. everybody on cheat cites and youtube calls it MissingNo.
2.No that [block] is the placehlder I still think it is MissingNo.

Yes, but we are real glitch researchers.
And I think I heard of Decamarks in DP before. If Blueoctopede said the ones in Newo's video those aren't 0000, and "[block]" is 0000, right?

My video has hexes 19C to 300 I believe. (approximately)
If it did work like equivalent trade the last one would be Pokemon 800 (or something like that). Last time I checked there was only 493 (or something like that)
You would get some glitches if it worked.

This might be a way to get glitches above 999, right? Anyway, yes, there is 493. But wait, Decamarks ARE still in D/P right?

Not sure, I haven't tested, supposedly it is blank. No pokemon that can be used as readable data…

Oh. So migration of RSE Decamarks could open up just a tiny bit then?

Maybe you could migrate a hybrid glitch?
