As for me, I wear glasses only for reading or using the computer, and I hate contacts, because I don't want to deal with putting anything in my eyes >.>

My mom's family has bad eyes. I and both of my blood sisters have been wearing glasses for years.

Same with my Dad's side of the family. However, me and my brother don't wear glasses or contacts. Glasses actually hurt my eyes.

I need to wear glasses for far distances (like reading the chalkboard or over-head in school). My mom is the same way. My dad, however, is the complete opposite of me and my mom. My dad needs glasses to see up close.
