I would like to work as a programmer for either Gamefreak or Nintendo.  I'd be a hacker as a side job though.

Me? Same as Fudgecake, although I would like to work for Nintendo, Blizzard, or Sega (least likely is Sega). What troubles me though is my crappy math skills will never get me there, that's why I'm miserable so often.

That stinks.  I'm always smarter in my math class than anyone else, even though I'm a grade below them!  But, if you happened to be on the chatroom 1-1/2 years ago, than yes, I'm still learning calculus.

Yeah math is hella hard for me also.

I'm pretty decent at algebra, but this isn't the place for it.

Back on topic!

I?m currently studying for a Bachelor?s degree in electrical engineering. Where I?ll go with it I don?t really know; I could work for Intel (they have a plant in my city), or maybe at a certain major national lab nearby?I?m totally up for working on nuclear weapons.

Then again, working in the computer security industry would be cool too. This isn?t the worst degree with which to get a job in that field either.

*gives FudgeCake a WIN Badge*
Apart from a game designer I would like to destroy all humans with nuclear weapons become a weapons designer.

I'm sorry if this topic shouldn't have been revived but I want to put in some input here. I definately want to work for Sega of America and I refuse to be affiliated with the Sonic Team unless I'm doing my Sega character fighting game (No it will not be the same type of gameplay as SSB series so nahnah! If you really want to know then I'll say that I want a typical fighting Engine similar to the original DBZ Budokai game engine because I hate the Tenkaitchi system but not exactly the same as that. I want the game engine to be unique.) I refuse to give in to Sonic Team if they don't like something. I also refuse to use the 4Kids voice actors. If they do not Meet my demands I will voice all of the Sonic Characters myself to piss them off. (including the female Characters XD) I'm such an asshole aren't I?
I'm not just going to use Sonic characters though. Hell no! I'm going to fish up every sega Character that was sent to hell when Sega went 3D. That includes Streets of Rage/ Bare Knuckle characters and Alex Kidd. (who had a rather unfortunate and deformed appearance in Sega Superstars Tennis. I don't even need to tell you that Sonic Team needs to get a life and stop putting long lost sega characters in overrated sports games which in turn makes them overrated along with it. (I'm starting to sound like an evil corperate businessman trying to take over a company now aren't I?
I might even throw in some Archie Comics  sonic characters and block them from normal gameplay so hackers have a reason to hack my game. I might even put the Raptor from the Jurassic Park Sega Genesis/Mega Drive. (once again another character normally locked off. I'll create a special "Programmer's Character select"  with many characters I couldn't put in due to any reason that would prevent them from being put in.

the window is 4 months, so you're safe :)

anyway, I'd probably pursue a career in computer programming. It is pretty competitive - I'd have to be really good at it, because there are guys in other countries (*cough*India*cough*) who are good at it and willing to do it for less than Americans.

I'm currently learning Java in my computer programming class. I'm only in high school btw. Oddly enough I seem to understand it better than Visual Basic. I don't know enough commands to start making stuff but I'm learning.

I'd know Java by now if I had an actual class for it instead of a guide.

I'm very good at math, so my career would probably involve math and computers. It'd probably be developing, making MMORPGs, developing for the Internet, or something.

Of course, my alternative careers include something involving biology, writing, composing music, etc. I have enough time to choose.

I don't really have any plans for a career. And I probably won't for a while.
