Steve McNair. He was found dead Saturday afternoon on his girlfriend/mistress's couch with multiple gunshot wounds to the head and chest. His girlfriend, Sahel Kazemi, was found on the floor next to him with one gunshot wound to the head and a gun she had recently bought lying nearby. Kazemi had also been arrested for DUI the previous Thursday, with McNair in the passenger seat. They were found by a roommate, who initially did not see the gunshot wounds. After returning from the kitchen, the roommate realized what had happened and called a friend. Upon arrival, the friend called the police.
Biased stuffs now:
This looks remarkably like a murder-suicide. However, the roommate "not noticing" dead people, then calling a friend and not the police, seems suspicious. Local police have not said much, other than that McNair's death was a murder, but nothing about the death of Kazemi. They are not searching for suspects. Who knows? McNair's wife could have done it out of jealousy. I am interested to see how this turns out.

Update: Police have ruled it to be a murder/suicide.

The Michael Jackson memorial this morning was fitting. Even though I am absolutely not a fan of Michael Jackson, and had the misfortune to live within 100 miles of the alleged child molester for much of my life, I was moved by the outpouring of memories from many of the speakers, especially Brooke Shields, Al Sharpton, and Paris Jackson. May the King of Pop rest in peace.
