this is a language based off of BASIC.
I'm looking to work with audio based programs with a Basic Stamp 2.

I'm not 100% sure what you're trying to do exactly, but when I'm fiddling with music I use this excellent freeware called MuseScore. It supports composition for every instrument imaginable from piano to glockenspiel.

I would not use a BASIC stamp these days. There are many other microcontroller boards (including from Parallax) that let you use saner languages, like C.

One of my personal favorites is TIs Launchpad, which costs less than $5.

yeah, i only own one microcontroller, and i slapped it on the guitar. I wasn't very knowledgeable on the market of micro processors at the time. I built this one, and it costed me 100 dollars in total.

By the way, i never knew TI had microcontrollers till now.
That's pretty fricken wicked, i might make another one just because of that.
