Better yet, try it in D/P/Pl, and see if you can get to an actual Mystery Zone.

Gold is much harder;  there are two bytes this time you must change however there are the three 'beta' areas which are already known; the beta safari zone (010344D0 015145D0 ); the beta house (010144D0 010445D0 ); and the beta safari entry house (010344D0 015045D0 )

I can't find anything other than that at the moment. However I find it interesting that Fuschie (sp) followed by Olivine Town is it? seem to be the first areas programmed in the game; (010144D0 and 010045D0) with (010144D0 and 010145D0) respectively. If I use (010044D0 as the first value no matter what second value I put the game seems to crash)

Edit: Found a glitch area but the game switches to a white screen the moment you get there (010044D0 and 01AA45D0)

There's beta maps you could probably fly to.  Dunno where they'd be at though.

Well some 'highlights' I could try to find could be any of the following:

Safari Zone
Safari Zone entrance
Part of viridian forest
Blocked off underground pass? Correct me if you can get there
Mewtwo's cave
Rocket HQ - game corner
Rocket HQ - silph co
Larger Seafoam cave
The place where you get the key to Cinnibar gym
Other houses
Miscellanious other places

I haven't found any of these which may exist yet, but the existence of the beta safari zone and house is confirmed.
