I have no clue how to merge posts.
Edit your first post (click Modify), put whatever your second post was in there (sometimes you may want to put something like EDIT: in between the two parts to clarify that the second half contains information only added after the first part), click save, and then you can delete the second post once it's in the first one. Hopefully that explanation makes sense, either way I'm thinking (directed at the other mods/admins) that instructions of this nature could go in some sort of 'First time here' topic for new users.
